We are so glad you are here! Meade County Community Foundation was established in 2019 through a partnership with the Meade County Sherriff's Department to help support our community by granting funds to local non-profit organizations. We are now able to open up our grants twice a year, once in January and again in June.
With the generosity of all of our donors and the partnerships we have with the Meade County Sheriff's department and The Patterson Family Foundation, MCCF was able to grant out $15,390 in our Summer 2026 cycle. In 2026 alone, MCCF granted out over $68,000. All time grants from MCCF are now nearly $145,000.

Plains and Kismet Grade School PE was able to purchase new equipment and curriculum for their students. The children love playing with the new, innovative Omnikin sets!

Meade
The Meade Public Library was awarded a $2,000 grant to update their story-walk in the Meade City Park. This will allow them to change out the stories in it on a regular basis!

Fowler
Fowler Senior Center was the recipient of a $2,000 grant to put in new front doors that are ADA compliant. This is a huge need as the current doors are not accessible to many current patrons.
