We are so glad you are here! Meade County Community Foundation was established in 2019 through a partnership with the Meade County Sherriff's Department to help support our community by granting funds to local non-profit organizations. We are now able to open up our grants twice a year, once in January and again in June.
With the generosity of all of our donors and the partnerships we have with the Meade County Sheriff's department and The Patterson Family Foundation, MCCF was able to grant out $16,550 in our Summer 2025 cycle. This year alone (2025), MCCF has granted out nearly $30,000. All time grants from MCCF are now over $76,000.
Plains Community Library received an $950 grant to purchase new sewing machines for their makerspace. Emily Holmes, pictured, will also use them to teach sewing classes at PCL!
The Beam Center received a $600 to fuel their new Senior Shuttle. This will give Meade Seniors rides to in town appointments free of charge, filling a significant need in Meade County!
Fowler Public Library received a $450 grant to purchase outdoor life-sized board games for their Loud-Brary day. They will also be bring them to MCCF's Match Month Finale Event!
